The Prince Slave Captive In His Castle Volume 1 PJ Fox Books
Wow. This book was a surprise and a shocking story. It moved me in many ways. I felt sadness, anger, pity, and hate. The dark side of human slavery, girls bought and sold for the best price, to endure whatever the owner wanted them to. Belle, the true soul of pure innocence, never an impure thought, her life before her and suddenly it all changed. Kidnapped and drugged, sold to a man who somehow captivated her mind and her heart.Ash is the mysterious man who owned her, and yet had saved her from who knows what terror. He had an evil side and yet he was gentle with her. She wanted to hate him. The tale is intense and kept me reading. The characters are real and pull you in, some you hate and some you cry for. And even though it opens the mind to the wicked world that does exist, it has a sense of romance and almost regret from some.
I really was held to the book from the start and hated to see it end. I can not wait to read the second book. P. J. Fox did an amazing job in the writing of this book. It was soft and yet it was raw and deep. It may not be for all people, but those with an open mind will enjoy it. I have to say it is one of those books that stay in your mind long after the last page is read and I would recommend it highly.

The Prince Slave Captive In His Castle Volume 1 PJ Fox Books Reviews
Spent too much time explaining what did not need to be explained. Very little action and would not purchase any sequels.
Hmmm.... I wasn't to keen on this story at first, it seemed long winded in some areas, but now it's starting to get more interesting. So, let's give the next book a try.
I choose this rating because it was the lowest I could go. Somewhere, somehow, I missed that this was part of a series. I also missed that this book involves sex trafficking.
What I saw was a lot of five star ratings and the name Belle. I thought hmmmm, a version of Beauty and the Beast. No the h is abroad and kidnapped. This book seems to glorify sex trafficking. It even implies that some kidnap victims actually enjoys the life of sexual slavery and once their masters are threw with them they're often just turned loose. That is unless they're not re-sold. The H shows no remorse and the h seems delightfully resigned to her situation choosing to have bantering conversations with her captor. I know it's fiction but what if the wrong person read this idealized version of what a good life a sex trafficking victim has....I don't know,it just seems kind of sick to me. I won't be reading anymore.
I felt it dragged on a little and didn't move as fast as I would have liked. She rambles a little too much, in her head and in conversations. The story has a good concept, just needs to be pared down in places and progress at a little faster pace, in my opinion.
Great read!!! This is not my normal kind of books for reading, but I'd read a couple of books by this author and loved them, so I thought I'd give this one a try and I definitely made a good decision. I really felt for Belle. You felt you really got to know her and was her friend. The book has many twists and turns and it really keeps your attention. I couldn't put it down, it was so engrossing. I really loved the book!!!
At first I was so bored but I said let me see where it goes. A lot of parts were, I found unnecessarily needed, to me some parts read like a research book.
I wanted to see the communication between Belle and Ash.There was not enough of that. I felt that just by the time I was beginning to understand the two together, we were thrown into this history lessons.
I don't feel that women sold as slaves should be glamorized. These poor women do not end up like this.
I know it's just a book but It is very dark. Somewhat even disturbing.
I have read quite a few erotic stories lately but nothing comes close to touching this for its dark story line and depth of characters. What I got from "The Prince's Slave" wasn't what I was expecting at all and I was pleasantly surprised at how deeply I became involved in the whole story and the relationship, if you could call it that, between Belle and Ash. A somewhat naive foreign exchange student, Belle finds herself being sold into sex slavery in Prague to a wealthy man who has some demanding preferences. While the reader, and Belle, should instantly hate Ash and feel sorry for Belle, neither seems to happen and the development of this story is very interesting to say the least. Erotic and intriguing from the get-go, I am anxious to find out what happens next with these two.
